Through strategic partnerships, the organisation seeks to empower and provide short-term skills training program to individuals who have practical skills, but with no academic credentials (certificates, licenses, permits etc.) to prove. Such academic credentials will enable them to get jobs or start their own businesses. The organisation has realised that there are many people with industrial practical skills, either they are naturally born with it or it’s a skill inherited from friends or family business.

The unfortunate reality is that without the proper academic credentials, they find it difficult to be hired by potential employers. Furthermore, no potential investor would want to risk their investment to someone who cannot prove they possess a particular skill. As such, it is difficult for them to be recognized in the employment or the business market. Fundamentally, Mfundi Skills Hub is ideally targeting candidates with already existing skills, which needs to be refined, enhanced and intensified for the business environment or potential employment.

Mfundi Skills Hub wishes to invite and encourage candidates to take the initiative to be part of this program. In doing so, we will help them to revive their skills to be more INFORMED and ignite a sense of hope to better themselves. Through this program, they will be exposed to other aspects of the industry enabling them to learn and discover more than they merely know and become more INNOVATIVE. In the process, they will excel and become Fundi’s (a person who has extensive skill or knowledge in a particular field) in the industry. Ultimately, after the completion of this program, our objective is for them to thrive and INSPIRE the hopeless. Candidates are invited to reach us through any of our digital and social media platforms, after which they should avail themselves at the agreed date and time. Upon meeting with each other, candidates will be expected to demonstrate their skills, which they claim to have. If the candidate’s demonstration is satisfactory, the Chairman, together with the delegation team, will then officially enrol the candidate to the program. Thereafter, the organisation will compile and present a portfolio of evidence to the partnering training institution to resume training. Candidates can pursue the following areas of interest:
